The old Rugby hub in 2004

Our new 10 acre hub site

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO US…

Its our birthday!! We have made it through the teenage years and now become a full blown adult!

18 years ago a unique pallet network entered the industry. On Friday 8th October 2004 the first vechicle arrived at our old hub in Rugby to be unloaded and so began the Hazchem journey, from those early days through to today Hazchem has become the UK’s leading method of transporting ADR pallets and parcels.

The Hazchem Network was launched as blend of all the good that standard pallet networks offer, coupled with a regulated framework and advanced technology to manage the ever changing and challenging legislation across its membership. That first night we moved 43 pallets, we now move close to 2000 pallets and 500 parcels every night.

In 2019 we left our home in Rugby and moved to our new hub, a 10 acre freehold site in the middle of the country at Hinckley which was adapted for its exclusive use as a central ADR-compliant hub. The main 150,000sf central hall receives up to 100 inbound trunks each night, despatching the same back to the regions in the early hours.

We recognise it’s our exceptional membership and employees that are the vital component to the network’s continued success; their loyalty, enthusiasm and commitment have got us to where we are today.A massive thank you to all those past and present, we couldn’t have come this far without you!!

Heres to the next 18 years
